Valence Core LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates the "Net Vantage" Shopify Application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and process your personal information and the personal information of your customers when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify store.

1. Information We Collect

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:

Shop Information: Shop domain, currency, timezone, and address (Stored).
Customer Data (Stored): We only store the Shopify Customer ID and Display Name. We do NOT store customer emails, phone numbers, or physical addresses on our servers.
Customer Data (Accessed via API): We access customer contact details (email/address) in real-time via the Shopify API solely to display them in your dashboard. This data is never persisted in our database.
Financial Data (Stored): We store credit limits, outstanding balances, order financial status, and payment history metrics calculated by the App.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers to provide the App services and to operate our business. Specifically, we use it to:

Calculate customer credit utilization and outstanding balances.
Generate financial aging reports and collections timelines.
Provide you with customer support and technical assistance.
Comply with applicable laws and regulations.

3. Data Retention & Deletion (GDPR/CCPA)

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the App to you or as required by law.

Merchant Data: If you uninstall the App, we delete your shop's configuration and synced data from our servers within 48 hours of receiving the uninstallation webhook from Shopify.
Customer Rights: European residents have the right to access personal information we hold about them and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you or your customers would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below. When we receive a "Redact" request from Shopify (GDPR webhook), we immediately delete the specified customer's data.

4. Data Storage & Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, change, or damage. All data is transmitted over secure HTTPs connections and stored in encrypted databases.

5. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We only share Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. For example, we use Shopify to power our App's integration. We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations.

6. Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
